Access: Your cabin key is located in a lockbox next to your cabin door.
Parking: Guest parking is located directly behind each cabin.
Cabin Rules & Etiquette
- Quiet hours: 10:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- No smoking inside the cabin or near open windows
- No pets allowed inside the cabins

All stays at Sky View Ridge are final and non-refundable. Please book with intention.
Van Guest Requirements
For guests staying in vans or self-contained vehicles:
- Self-contained vehicles only
- No ground dumping of any kind
- Pack in / Pack out – please remove all belongings and waste
Quiet & Courtesy
- Quiet hours: 10:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- No generators during quiet hours
- Keep music and voices low to respect other guests
- Park only in your assigned space

Sky View Ridge is located just outside Viroqua, in the rolling hills of Southwest Wisconsin’s Driftless Region. We sit on a quiet ridge with long valley views, big sky sunsets, and star-heavy nights.
You’ll feel away from everything, while still being just minutes from town.
We are creating a small collection of thoughtfully placed ridge-top cabins under the umbrella of Viroqua Guest Cabins.
Our first two cabins are:
- The Rylan
- The James
Each cabin is private, simple, and designed for rest, connection, and sky-gazing.
(Additional cabins will be added next season.)
Sky View Ridge is intentionally small and quiet.
This is not a resort.
It is not a party property.
It is a place to:
- Watch the sunset without interruption
- Walk the hills
- Read
- Reconnect
- Breathe
If you’re looking for nightlife, this probably isn’t your place.
If you’re looking for exhale — welcome.
Each cabin comfortably accommodates two adults. This keeps the energy intimate and the land respected.
At this time, we are not allowing pets. We love animals, but we are protecting the land, wildlife, and the comfort of all guests.
Van guests traveling with pets are allowed.
Cabins include simple kitchenettes suitable for light cooking. Viroqua also offers wonderful local dining and co-op options just a short drive away.
Yes — but we encourage you not to use it much.
This is a place for presence.
Sky View Ridge operates seasonally. We close during the winter months and reopen in spring.
Every season offers something different:

- Summer: long golden evenings
- Fall: extraordinary color across the valleys

Yes — we welcome self-contained van travelers.
We offer limited ridge-top parking spaces for van life guests who:
- Are fully self-contained (no tent camping)
- Practice leave-no-trace principles
- Respect the quiet nature of the land
This is not a campground.
It’s a peaceful ridge stay for travelers who value simplicity and sky.
